1. Briefly describe your current business, any desired change of direction for the future in terms of audience, model, scale, services, products, impact, approach, etc.
2. Who do you get brilliant results for at the moment? How do you work with them? How have you evolved your expertise over the years? How do you apply the various roles / contexts / skillsets you've developed over the years?
3. What frustrates you with your business at the moment? What brings you joy? What do you look forward to achieving in the future? What do you dread doing with current or future clients?
4. What is your experience of creating and publishing books, courses, training programmes, etc? What have you learned from any previous efforts in these areas? Why were you attracted to LEAD to GOLD and the Paradigm Alchemy Workshop? How do you leverage traditional media in your current approach (audio, video, text, etc.)? How do you engage in social media and why. If not, why not? Any thoughts on the ways in which media is used generally at the moment and the effect this has?
5. Create a brief biographical and career profile—the various industries / roles / responsibilities you've been in over the years. Which contexts / roles / situations suited you most and why? Which were problematic and why?
6. Describe your personal passions beyond the work or business arena and explain why you do them / love them, etc. For example, hobbies, volunteering, causes you fight for and so on.
7. What are your own personal values and business values? How do these relate to those you work with / want to work with / DON'T work with or DON'T want to work with? When you think about the wider market you operate within or your professional peers do you notice common values that conflict with your own core values (where you might notice some internal conflict or incongruity)?
8. Describe the journey of the client you've worked with who has achieved the best results from working with you. Describe the journey of the client you've most enjoyed working with. Describe the journey of working with the client who was the toughest to work with, but ended up with the results. Describe the journey of working with a client you simply couldn't help or where the relationship broke down. For each scenario, capture insights into their behaviour, your behaviour, their attitudes, your attitudes, values, etc. Are there times when the great results were received poorly or when good-fit clients turned out to be bad fits?
9. In your current work, how do you use frameworks / models / systems (Paradigms) created by others? How do these support your work? How do they restrict or limit you or the business? If you've created acronyms-based or step-based processes previously what have these been (with a brief explanation)? If you've attempted to create a framework in the past how was that process for you? How successful, or otherwise, has it been? What have you learnt from the experience?
10. How do you want the addition of a scalable product-based business model to your existing consultancy / time-swapping model to affect your business, your audience, your impact, your legacy, etc? What would your ideal business / personal life look like in five years with the evolution of this product business centred around your Paradigm, powerful Storyselling brand and all the related products and processes?
